Ms. Pflug was my art teacher during my freshman year at Mendham HS 1978-1979. I had no talent as an artist, but she was so nice about it. My favorite memory is that near the end of the year, after I turned in yet another horrible still life painting, she so tactfully suggested that I should turn my efforts to abstract art! It was her kind way of telling me that it would be better if didn't try to make paintings that looked like anything. :-) RIP Ms Pflug. Thank you saving me embarrassment over my "art work".
