I only have the most fondest memories of Lesly through my connection with her at St. Joseph Church. Although she volunteered in many ways, I remember her best through the "Frozen Food Tray" ministry at the parish. She was always so dedicated to the mission and extremely humble and pleasant. For years I would help her find teens who needed service hours to help distribute and then collect the trays. She would remark to me how wonderful it was to work with the teens. When Lesly came into the parish office, it was nice to have a few moments to chat. I always felt good after a conversation with Lesly. I will remember her with a warm smile, a quiet gentle spirit, and a strong desire to live out her faith and her love for Jesus through helping others. As a beautiful role model through the way she lived her life, Lesly will be sorely missed. My heartfelt sympathy and prayers to Lesly's family.

I cannot even believe she is gone. I can still see the twinkle in her eyes as I asked for another tray of some horrible fish or baked ziti. She was the light of that kitchen and her energy was unstoppable. I loved and admired her so very much. My mother is suffering from dementia and I so treasured just knowing she was here in town guiding her amazing family. Please know that she will be missed in this community and in my heart for a very, very long time.

It is with great sadness, that we have learned about the passing of Leslie. A kind and loving person. My wife Janet and I had the pleasure of working with Leslie at Eva's kitchen, in Paterson, NJ. I am so sorry to learn of Lesly's passing. I recall with great fondness how much fun she and I would have while preparing the chicken at Eva's Kitchen. She always had an infectious smile and a kind word for everyone she met. A great lady, she will be sorely missed by her parish and her community.
