We will truly miss our great neighbor and friend. He was a man of quiet dignity and elegance. Our life in Mendham over the past 35 years were so enriched having Vince and his family nearby. He was always ready and willing to help you, He was a man with a warm smile and a strong handshake that let you know immediately what a fine person he was. May he rest in peace and enjoy the life and love of God in heaven.

Papa I will forever miss you and ALWAYS love you. You were the light of the family. The man we all leaned on and looked up to. I will cherish every single memory I have of you and pass them down to mason every chance I get. I wish we had more time with you and that you would have been able to see Mason grow but I know you are in Heaven watching down. I know you are happy up there with your parents sister and other family memebers though we miss you dearly down here I know you are now in peace. I will see you again one day and I know you will be waiting to pinch my cheeks while saying such a good girl. I love you so much and will pray to and look up to you for the rest if my days. LOVE YOU Love Krista.

To the Marelli Family,
We fondly remember Vince as a personable and trustworthy friend and neighbor. Vince was always available to lend a helping hand, and treated my grandmother, Elizabeth, at 2 Halstead Rd. with sincere kindness.
I know all who knew him will miss Vince dearly. His smile, upbeat personality, hospitable nature leave am unforgettable impression.
Let him enjoy his rest, in peace.
Sincerely,
The Havas Family, submitted by Robert

Vincent is the kindest person I've ever known. We should all try to emulate just a tad of what he is and we'd be better off. There's not once I can remember asking him something and him not reaching out to help me. Whether it was to borrow a tool, ask for an egg, or just to visit and drink his wine, he'd always open his door without hesitation. When I first asked if I could metal detect his yard he SUGGESTED I go to the front for better pickings near the old walkway. With such an immaculate green yard who else would be so kind but Vince? When a branch fell, who rushed over with a saw? With the passing of Vince I've lost a friend, neighbor, and a second father figure. My family, especially my boys, will miss him dearly as well. Thanks Vince for storing my machines, the wine , crackers, tomatoes, fun in the basement with TV, sitting with me on back steps, chats at 6:30 am on front steps, watching my house, visiting the shop, giving me gas, giving me oil,and just being there for my whole family. Thanks for always welcoming me so warmly when I walked into every party and picnic without an invitation. We love you and will never forget you.

Dearest entire Marelli clan:
We are so very sorry to hear of Uncle Vince's passing, and remember the great times at dinners, wine-fests, and the true love that is shared among the family with friends. Our world is less bright without his shining light.
With much love and many hugs,
Donna and Megan
