Obituary of Robert John Pettinelli

Robert J. Pettinelli passed away peacefully on Jan. 15, 2014 at Morristown Medical Center.  He was 59. Born in Ossining, NY he lived in TX, CA, NC and New Jersey.  He has lived in Pottersville for the last 10 years. Bob attended Fordham Preparatory School and received his bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University and his masters from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He had a market research consulting firm, RJP Brand Engineering, for the last five years.   He also worked for Novartis and Warner Lambert in the same capacity for many years.  Bob enjoyed traveling, collecting wine, was a Formula One racing fan and loved living in Pottersville. His family will remember him as a loving husband, father and son.  He always spoke his mind and was passionate about living life to the fullest.  Bob’s love of life and strong bonds with his friends and family  have left an indelible mark, he will be incredibly missed.    Survivors include his wife Cindy Pello of Pottersville, his parents Robert H and Glena Pettinelli of Raleigh, NC; two sons Robert G. Pettinelli (Kelsey) of San Diego, CA and Connor Claver of Austin, TX, one brother Glen Pettinelli of Raleigh, NC and his beloved dog Heathcliff. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1-5pm at the Bailey Funeral Home, 176 Main Street, Peapack, NJ.  Funeral Mass Monday 10 am at St. Elizabeth Church in Far Hills.  Cremation will be private.     www.baileyfuneralhomes.com
