Here's the poem she wrote that I read at her funeral:
We make our world in which we live...
By what we gather & what we give....
By our daily deeds and what we say...
By what we keep or cast away.
We make our world by the life we lead...
By the friends we have...
By the books we read...
By the pity we show in the hour of care...
By the loads we lift and the love we share.
We make our world by the goals we persue, by hopes and dreams and what we do.
What is this place in which we dwell, a hut or a palace, a heaven or hell?
We gather & scatter, we take and give.
We make our world and there we live.
So be happy and smile and always grin...
And thank God for the shape you're in.
She was a wonderful lady with a depth not many people knew. May she rest in peace
