I was so saddened to hear of John’s passing. I grew up in Brookside and John was apart of that community and life. A great place to grow up. As most of my family were Williams people, we would have a conversation whenever the Williams/Amherst game came around. If Amherst was winning, I would hear a blow by blow of the score, if Williams were winning, not so much. In any event we would sing all the college songs that we knew, whatever the outcome. He was a friend no matter the distance or time passed.
He will be missed. My heart goes out to his family.
