I will forever remember Ed as a man who was always happy in his own skin no matter the circumstances, even when he took more than one swing to hit his favorite golf ball off the tee. And he could be relied on to say “nice shot” when his golf buddies Dave or John or I put ours into the sand, or a tree, or the lake. He was many things. Patient. Calm. Helpful. Curious. Encouraging. Inquisitive. Supportive. Funny. Even when he was struggling to walk, or to remember, he never complained; and he’d always laugh, and look straight into our eyes and say “thank you” when we visited him at his Assisted Living home during his last year or two. In short, Ed was a very, very good man and a wonderful friend. I miss him a lot. And I send my heartfelt condolences to his family. He loved you very much. Frank Chisari
