This Thursday, August 11th will be three weeks that you left us and Jesus took you into his home. Mom, Cynthia and I watched you take your last breath and as I laid my head on your chest I tried my best to comfort you and let you know that everyone that was in your life old and new were praying for you, leaving messages and/or texts and how much they loved you. While Mom could not attend to all of the kind gestures, as we knew how much time you had left, we all expressed gratitude and thankfulness to all. Your dear cousins and extended family were all reassured that you loved them and were in a better place. I like to reiterate that watching you take your last breath was not only impactful for me but for Mom and Cynthia too; we knew Jesus asked permission to continue to take care of you that day and keep you comfortable in your new life. Many that you left behind are tearful and miss you more each everyday. We have memories of good times with the family, that we knew and opened our arms to others who chose to join our family later on in life. We can only hope for a healthy and safe future for all of us moving forward, as all of us have had our own setbacks to overcome. May God continue to hold your hand, wash away the pain of leaving your family and help gain eternally strength in the kingdom. In God We Trust John 316. Stacey Aromando

To my Aunt Marg, my cousins Stacey & Cynthia
My heart is with you as you grieve for the loss of the man you knew as husband and father. You gave him the precious gift of spending his final days at home, surrounded by his loving family- a priceless experience in today's crazy world.
You all did your best, gave your time and love during this very prolonged illness, and we know he could be a 'trying patient' (smiles), but you took those deep breaths, stepped away and came back- to support him, see him through all those doctor visits, hospitalizations, tests, surgeries and the health challenges that resulted from all of it. You were there while he tried to cope with losing all his dreams of a future.
It was a draining time for all of you- caretaking is not easy- but the love you had for him sustained your efforts and they were many.
The void he leaves will be sorely felt for months in your day to day lives. Caring for someone takes your life away for awhile but suddenly- you get it back but it's not the same, for someone essential is missing.
Losing the person who was the center of our Universe is always a heartbreak- Aunt Marg- I am so sad for you.
I am sending each of you Love & Light- may the embrace of the Divine ease your sorrow, rest your soul and enable you to move on.
With Heartfelt Compassion and Empathy
Michele & Rick

What will I say about my Uncle Robert?
I've known him all my life- my mother's younger brother who was always a presence when we were young. My mother made a point of regularly visiting all of her relatives, carting my sister and I along with her. We knew all of them and he was no exception. I mostly remember Uncle Rob & Aunt Marg when we'd all be visiting Grandma Mary on Summer Avenue. I do have memories of being at the Whippany house with my cousins and their boxer dogs.
Uncle Robert could be a 'tough cookie', but he always had a loving heart that could be coaxed from stubborness to understanding. He had a realistic view of Life and could be depended upon for dispensing good, sound advice.
Oh, how he Loved a Challenge! He had a tendency to 'dare himself'. He had a thirst to learn new things, to enrich his mind and body. He applied himself 100%, he was extremely self-disciplined, as exemplified during his 'Marathon Years'. He brought his ALL to the table, with full intention of being on Top.
He was also very giving- Coach Bob- sharing his knowledge,experience, and ambitions to motivate the younger generation.
But then came 'The Greatest Challenge'- when the Demon invaded his body, relentless in its pursuit of Robert's Light & Well-Being.
Uncle Robert, I applaud your courage, strength and determination- you fought the 'Good Fight'. I hope my cheering from the sidelines gave you some inspiration to keep going, knowing I was in your corner, rooting for you- always sending Love.
Sadly, the Demon took your last breath- but Not your Light! You left that behind for all of us to bask in, knowing we will never forget the soul of Robert Aromando.
May you rest in Peace my dear Uncle Robert. I can hear you already, laughing with the Angels.....
Your loving Niece, Michele

I know Stacy adored her loving Dad. Her and family's devotions and acts of selfless kindness in this course were gallant and truly moving. I carry "Coach Bob's" humble smile in my melted heart ---- perhaps a sweet glimpse of the scope and range of elegance that he shared with his lucky family, friends and all others who had the good fortune to have known him. May his radiant soul seep in the brilliance of eternal paradise!

We were saddened to hear about Bob’s passing.
He was a real fighter but a real family man with many talents.
He will be missed by all who knew him, but left behind many beautiful memories.

Robert was my brother. We spent many hours on the phone talking and Robert helping me with advice on financial and other problems that came up.and ,how to fix things I lost my husband in 2022 and my brother was the person that took his place helping me .Before he married he spent many hours at my home.I will miss him terribly I picked up the phone today to call him and realized that he will not be there to have our talks. My heart is broken by his death. I lost my sister in 2022 and two weeks later lost my husband and now my brother I am the only sibling left in the family My brother Robert will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace Robert.

Every memory we have has a category. My memories of Bob are in the Hudson Place, Bloomfield category. We were next door neighbors when Stacy and Bob, Jr. were little kids and then along came Cynthia. I remember sitting on your front stoop at 17 Hudson Place (We lived at 9). All the summer nights spent there. I even remember Bob coming home from work and how excited the kids were to see him. Then there were memories of my dad doing his carpentry thing on your house. My dad was very friendly, and if he liked you you were his friend forever. Bob and Marguerite you were his friends forever. May God's unending love, mercy and peace be yours and may your family always feel your heart hugs from heaven so that they know your strength and faith are with them to guide them through this new chapter of their lives. God bless you Bob and may you rest easy in peace.

See the good in everyone, be the good for everyone, know that Bob made life good for everyone, God is Good all of the time. You ran many marathons Dad, you climbed many mountains and the longest marathon you conquered these past three years brought everyone an example of courage, faith and hope for a brighter day. Your better life is now and God is still standing right by your side. May he continue to shine his mercy and grace upon your face. Thanks for all the blood, sweat and tears you shed not just for me but for everyone that stayed in your corner. Thank you to everyone that kept Dad on their prayer chain. He loved all of you and cherished his cousins and friends just like family. In God We Trust John 316. Stacey514TaurusLove

When tomorrow starts without me
and I'm not there to see;
If the sun should rise
and find your eyes
All filled with tears for me;
As much as I love you,
And each time that you think of me,
Don't think we're far apart,
For every time you think of me,
I'm right here, in your heart.
I love you Pops

It brings a smile to my face to remember the friendship among the “older” cousins of the Aromando clan that lasted even through the later years of their lives. Robert will now be reunited with so many family members who have gone before us. I’m thinking, in particular, of Robert and my brother Richard playing together as young children. All are missed, but now enjoying a new life together!
