To the descendants of John O'Connell, Betts will forever be the "little sister" who alas, refused to conform to Gini's political beliefs. Oh, how that confounded Gini! But clearly Betty had a mind of her own and manged to stand up to her older sibling.
They were two fantastic, albeit different women who shared a sense of family values and a no nonsence approach to life.
It was clear to us that Betty was a wonderful wife, mom and sister. She had a full life. May she rest in peace.
