John was always so kind and supportive. We frequently shared memories of our time attending Johnsonburg. When I was teaching, he would ask if I needed anything for my classroom and would help me get the supplies I needed. Though we haven't spoken in a little while, I knew he was always available for a quick check in to talk about our families. He will be missed.

John was an amazing man and I was so blessed to have called him my friend. He always put others ahead of himself. Always checked in on others when they were having a bad day and never asked for anything in return. He made everyone's lives better just by being who he was. I will miss you my friend. I will miss you dearly.
