Carolyn and family: I was very saddened to hear that Harry passed. I know you expected, as I did, that he would recover, and that makes it extra difficult. He was a good man and I appreciated the conversations we had together at various Vasa functions. Being in Iraq I will not be able to express my condolences in person, but please accept my sympathy on your loss. I was terribly sorry to hear the news of Harrys passing. Although we hadn't spent much time together in recent years we were the same age and I remember some wonderful times when we were younger. And of course as we got older our paths drifted but I will never forget our close friendship. Harry was always like a brother during the time we spent together in the Air Force in the mid-50s. While brief, the experiences from those times forged a friendship that has last through the years. Harry's sense of humor and his sincere interest in others was contageous. Although we might not have seen each other often since then I will always value his friendship always. My love and prayers go out to you. Terry
