No words can explain my sadness to such a kind and cherished soul. I met John eight years ago while working at Kings in Bedminster. He always came in with a smile and good thoughts. I was taken back by this news as I did not learn about it until after the fact. I continue to pray for him and his family and extend my sincere sympathy to his wife and extended family. I last spoke to John about a year ago and it is so shocking to see this news. He has always been a bright light for those around him and I have such fond memories of our time working together at Verizon, when I was still learning how to do my job. Thank you, John, for being such a positive and nice person always. My condolences to his wife and family.

My heartfelt condolences to Susan Joy. I wish you comfort and peace through this very difficult time. I worked with John years ago and he was the kindest person I've come across. His positivity helped the team overcome hurdles. He saw good in people when it was challenging for others. John was a great friend to many people he came across. He will be missed dearly by the community he touched. I will miss seeing his posts. A life well lived and loved. Rest in peace, my friend.

I first met John about 2 years ago at a Saturday run with Raritan Valley Road Runners. It was so clear that John was a kind person, generous in spirit. I always enjoyed talking with him. I am not surprised to see John described as “a friend to animals and nature” : he would gravitate to my lab, Buddy or Aldo, with sheer delight at the connection. We will miss you, dear friend. Rest In Peace.

I met John in 2009 when we both started to work around same time within a span of couple of days. We shared wall between our cubes. I still remember those good days with John like yesterday. He was one of the happiest and cheerful person I knew. He was so much fun to be around. I remember him saying quite often "leave it better than you found". Our friendship started in 2009 and even though our jobs changed, John and I remained in touch ever since. Even when I slacked, John always made a point to check how I was doing. He always cheered me with his positive attitude towards life. John was my hike and run buddy, US Open buddy, drove to Montreal and was always there when I needed him through good and bad times. When I was planning to move to CA, John even offered to drive UHAUL with me all the way from NJ to CA. I thought he was joking but he was serious. During peak of Covid, John helped me pack my complete apartment during the move and even dropped me at airport at 4 AM. He said he wanted to see me off and not take a taxi esp when I was leaving NJ for good. Such a kind, generous and happy person was John. I will dearly miss John. RIP my friend! -Amit

I enjoyed talking with John during our many runs over the years with the Raritan Valley Road Runners RVRR. John was a super volunteer, helped out at numerous events and was nice to new members. We will miss John at our club. Condolences to Susan Joy from John’s running friends. - Ken V
