Please accept my condolences to Nancy’s family on their loss. Nancy and I go back a long way having been friends for well over 35 years. Our daughters Betsy & Katherina were besties thru high school and beyond. Actually they insisted we meet & when we did not only did we remember each other from high school but understood why our daughters were drawn to each other. My fondest memories of Nancy of course were our golf adventures! One might say we were obsessed with the game. It was our go to where we left all our problems behind. We laughed at the absurdity of the game but mostly we talked about how grateful we were for having four beautiful daughters between us. Single parents we were — adding to our life’s challenges. We wanted the best for them & wanted them to know they had choices. Nancy was a modern-day women’s rights activist. She gave a voice to so many women were not able to fight for themselves so she did it for them. At the time as a female attorney she was launched into a male-dominated court of law. It took grit and determination to support and do legal battle for the women she represented. My thoughts & prayers go out to her family and friends.
