If I have my memory correct, I bought my first used car from Bill when he worked for F. Day Ford of Plainfield, in 1959. He was a gentleman and treated this young lad very nicely. God bless.

What an amazing man. Simply an icon. As tall as he was, his persona still transcended his physical presence. He will sorely missed by the many lives he touched.

It is with great sadness that we mourn Mr. Vince. A true automotive legend. It was an honor to know him.

I only met Mr. Vince just a couple of times . When I first met him he was so kind to me.I had tripped and he help me up. With a big smile on his face he ask me if I was ok. I never forgot his act of kindness and how it made me feel. Mr. Vince had a true gift for making people feel good about them self. He would make you feel like you were the only one that matter in that moment. I was feeling really low at this time But after that exchange of words I fell whole again . I asked someone who was that man .That's Mr Vince. Marie Boss That was over 30 years ago . Within just a few minutes I forgot my woes and was ready to move on with my life.. Mr Vince smile and kind words re open my heart that directed me back to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (. Without even saying God's name) Remember this you only need a smile and a few kind words that can change the direction in someone life. A few weeks ago I saw this women and I asked my cousin Vicki. Who is that woman I know that I know her .( She had a present about her)Vicki reply that is Eleanor Mr. Vince wife. I went over to her and said I knew i knew you. Hello Victoria I know you from tv. She smiled just as Mr.Vince did she stood up and gave me the biggest hug ( the kind you don't forget) When I realize I called her Victoria my heart sunk feeling ashamed I told her I was sorry. I meant Eleanor. She was so kind to me. and just forgot my mistake. Then proceed to hug me again it made me feel so good. She made me feel as Mr Vince did over 30 years ago. Eleanor you and William were true soul mates. Sorry for your loss Linda Turner-Dean
