Obituary of Gregory Kevin Wilson

Gregory Kevin "G.K." Wilson, II Bernardsville Firefighter Gregory Kevin "G.K." Wilson, II passed away suddenly on August 20, 2011, at home in Bernardsville. He was 26. Born in Summit, NJ he has lived in Bernardsville the last 26 years. G.K. was a 2003 graduate of Bernardsville High School. He was an Electrician with Glenn Miller Electric in Chester. G.K. was a dedicated member of the Bernardsville Fire Department for the last 10 years. His family will remember him as someone who lived life to the fullest and who loved to help others. He enjoyed Fishing, Baseball, Football, Boating and spending time with his son Gregory, III. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Survivors include his beloved son Gregory Kevin Wilson, III, and the love of his life Casey Lewis of Bernardsville, his mother Marie Russo Wilson of Bernardsville, his sister and best friend Tara Wilson Beimfohr (Larry) of Mendham, his cherished nephew Justin his Uncle Ralph Russo of Stirling, his father Gregory Kevin Wilson, and step mother Kim and step siblings Daniel, Ryan, and Erin VanWert of Boonton, step brother Matthew VanWert (Amanda) and his nephew Jack of Roxbury. He is also survived by his best friends and fellow firemen Joe Friedman and Matt McDonald along with many aunts uncles and cousins and his firefighter brothers. Visitation will be held on Friday form 2-4 & 6-9pm at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd., Mendham. Funeral Service Saturday 10am in the Funeral Home. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Basking Ridge. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Gregory Kevin Wilson, III, Trust Fund, c/o Marie Wilson, in his memory, would be appreciated.
