I will always remember Joan's positive attitude and good sense of humor. She was so proud of her family and always happy to tell a story about a grandchild or great-grandchild. I loved her subtle midwestern accent and pleasant demeanor. She would always send us a handmade card for any occasion. In the recent years she became close with my mother and they could sit for hours trading stories. She will be greatly missed on sports fields, Mendham town events and at Wright family gatherings - they won't be the same without her.
