Obituary of Neil M Haller

Neil Messenger Haller, 74, passed away late Sunday night by the side of his beloved wife of 46 years, Ann Chase Haller and surrounded by family and loved ones. Neil was born February 1, 1937 in New York City. He graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology with three degrees, worked for Bell Laboratories (and its successors) for more than 40 years and holds several telecommunications patents. He was an instrument rated pilot, certified scuba diver and avid distance runner, who completed 11 marathons. Neil had a tremendous love of life and will be deeply missed. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Richard Haller and Richard's wife Sheryl and their three children, Madison, Marisa and Chase and his daughter, Nancy Haller and Nancy's husband Brewster and their two children Harlan and Elias.
