I was childhood friends with Joe’s nephews Phil and John and then by happenstance worked for Joe for a year after I graduated FDU Dental in 1986. He was a wonderful boss and mentor and I really enjoyed working for him. My sincerest condolences to the Maio family.

Our Deepest sincere Condolences to the entire Maio family. So sadden for Dr. Maio passing not only was he mine, he was my family and friends Dentist, I've known him for the past 40+ years was a wonderful and caring person. My father now in heaven serviced all Dr. Maio vehicles there after Dr. Maio serviced all our dental needs up till my last tooth pulled July 2018. I was very sorry to hear of Dr. Maio's passing. I did not learn of it until I was called by the office to confirm my next dental cleaning. I realized that he was dealing with an illness during the last time he was treating me at the office. I will always remember him as a kind and caring doctor who was always happy to see his patients , but totally dedicated to the best care he could provide. After almost forty years as his patient , I will miss Dr. Maio .
