We were sorry to read that Sophie passed from this life. It was always a happy moment to see her at the apothecary and chat for a few moments- she always had a kind word and a great smile. When my daughter, son-in-law (Francesca and Ryan) and their children moved next door a few years ago it was nice to see her again. She will be missed, our condolences to all of you.

I, and my two children, Rebecca and Josh, were all saddened to hear of Aunt Soph's passing. I have a lifetime of amazing memories of spending birthdays, holidays and special occasions with my godmother and the rest of the Swatworth and Kreutel families. I particularly enjoyed sitting in the breezeway having relaxing conversations and looking out onto their beautiful yard. She was a happy part of my life growing up and she will truly be missed. Dear Swatsworth family, I’m happy to say that I possess one of Sophie’s famous needlepoint creations, I guess that puts me in the inner circle of friends. She was such a great lady that I enjoyed visiting with at Rob and Sarah’s. Our time together there was relaxed, family oriented and included a beverage or two. She is finally at peace and that is a blessing. My love, Chris

John, Rob, and Famly... I am very saddened to learn of your Mom's passing. She was a lovely lady filled with warmth and a sunny smile. I will always remember her fondly whether I'd see her at the Mendham mall or, when, being a member of John's 'band', we'd shake the foundation their home in Mendham. I have had many privileges in my life and knowing the Swatsworth family is at the top. Sophie and Jack took me on as there own as a young boy and that continued til the end. Absolutely nothing but great times and fond memories. They were there for me in times of celebration and times of need. Always a lady, I will remember her as a second mom. My condolences to my two best friends, their wonderful wives and great kids she has left behind. Sophie is where she wanted to be now. She will be missed but the memories will stay with me forever. Wish I could be there to raise a glass..... Another time soon I guess. Charlie

John, Robert and families, I am so saddened this morning, yet also feel the calm and peace that your mother deserved. We all loved Sophie as our wonderful neighbor who is such a caring, delightful person and so friendly on all of my many visits over the years. Now the blessed reunion With your dad is complete and they are free to visit all of their favorite spots, visit and support family members whenever they would like. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you as this has been a very difficult and long goodbye to your Mom. It was very special and a true privilege to have such great neighbors to grow up with.
