Obituary of Michael J. O'Neill

Michael J. O'Neill of Mendham passed away suddenly on May 8, 2011. Michael was the loving husband of Kelly and devoted father of three beautiful children: Caroline, Patrick and Fiona. Michael was Director of Energy Products for CME Group and was a 1993 Graduate of Providence College where he received a B.S. in Marketing. Michael grew up in Chatham Township and settled in Mendham in 2007. He will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend whose loyalty, humor, love of sports and spectacular enjoyment derived from his children will be treasured. He was predeceased by his parents John Thomas O'Neill and Ruth Ann Gavagan O'Neill. In addition to his wife and children, Mike is survived by his three brothers, John O'Neill of Austin, TX, Peter O'Neill of Millburn, Stephen O'Neill of Bernardsville and his three sisters Nancy Brooks of Duxbury, MA, Susan Giuliano of Basking Ridge and Mary Jo Gagliardi of El Segundo, CA. He is also survived by his brother and sister in laws and many beloved nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-8pm at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd., Mendham. Funeral Mass Friday, 10am at the Church of Christ the King, Blue Mill Road, New Vernon.
