Obituary of Paul A. Truszkowski

Paul A. Truszkowski of Long Valley passed away at Morristown Medical Center on May 10, 2018. He was 71.

Paul was born in Jersey City, NJ, and lived in Bayonne and Cedar Grove.  He moved with his wife, Margaret (MacDonald) Truszkowski, to Springfield, NJ, in 1973 where they lived until 1985 before finally settling in Long Valley, NJ.

He, along with his wife, were active parishioners of St. Joseph Church in Mendham, NJ.  In addition to being a Social Studies teacher at East Orange High School for 27 years, he was fond of music and maintained an active membership in numerous community bands and musical groups.  His instruments of choice were the French horn and the tuba.  Paul was also a “small boat” enthusiast and loved to spend his time on the water.

Paul is survived by his wife, Margaret, Long Valley; brother Edward, Bridgewater; son, Thomas, and wife, Karen, Scranton, PA; daughter, Elizabeth, and husband, Jaime, Glenmoore, PA; son, Christopher, and wife, Torrey, Providence, RI; grandchildren, Eva, Leah, and Tristan.
