Mr. Truszkowski was my Social Studies for 2 years at East Orange HS.. Class of 1988..I thought he was a great teacher! I'm going to post this info on the 2 EOHS Facebook pages to let his other former students know of his passing. RIP Mr. Truszkowski and my God bless your family and send them comfort during this difficult time.

Dear Margaret,
I was so sorry to hear of Paul's passing. I enjoyed his company when he came to our partys and when I saw him at the science seminars at RVCC. He was smart and and he could be funny, in his own way. I'm envious of his ability to handcraft small wooded boats. He had many skills beyond music. I imagine a good many small small musical bands will miss his french horn. Bobbie and I will miss him.

Dear Margaret and Family,
My deepest sympathy to you all. I know that we -- in various horn sections -- will miss Paul very much. Besides his super reliable playing, he provided useful quick fixes to horn technical problems. I appreciated so much his rejoining "Casey's Band", the Whitehouse Wind Symphony, when I became the only horn player.
I am so very sorry for y/our loss. It is a shock to all of us.
Sincerely,
Louise

I was so sorry to hear of Paul’s passing. He was a colleague of mine at EOHS for many years. When I became department chairman I saw to it that Paul was given a class schedule that accentuated his strenghts. He demonstrated some creative ways to teach his favorite subject, World history.
Personally, Paul was a friend for many years. He possessed a great sense of humor (on the dry side). We shared many of the trials and tribulations that came with the challenges of teaching high school teenagers. Laughter and tears came with the job, but Paul persevered throughout it all.
My condolences to Margaret, your children and grandchildren.

We all loved making music together with Paul. All our best from the trumpet section to this sadness in the French horns.

My deepest condolences to the family of Paul. He will be missed at the Whitehouse Wind Symphony rehearsals and performances. I also shared with him my love for boating and as a fellow school teacher. I will miss you Sir.
