Betty was the ultimate beautiful person. She was always thoughtful and genuinely cared for others. We have been good friends since she joined the Medical Board and it was fun getting together for lunches with the other State retirees (Nancy, Jean, Gerry, Carolyn). We called ourselves the "Jersey Girls". Betty was always instrumental with making plans for these lunches. Lunch will not be the same without our dearest Betty. We also enjoyed the cruises we took together. Rest in peace. We'll love you always, Betty.

Betty will live on forever in our hearts and minds. She was a true kind soul who never thought twice about offering a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Her joy, her spirit, and her energy touched us all. Towards the end, her strength and optimism were inspirational. We are proud to have known her and call her "aunt". She will be missed but she has gone home and is with Ruth Joan, Bobbie, Pearlie and the rest of the gang

Betty was a beautiful and thoughtful person. No matter the occasion, I always knew that I would receive a card from Betty; birthday, passover, yom kippur, thanksgiving...yes, Betty always remembered. I will truly miss you Betty and all those cards during the year. You will live in my heart ALWAYS!!

Cousin Betty was always there for everyone. The kindest, most caring, inspirational soul one could ever know. We're so glad we got to visit Betty and George in their luxury apartment in NYC just before Christmas. We had a lot of laughs with great company. And i will truly miss Betty's frequent e-mails usually starting off with "Good Morning" sharing family activities, offering great advice, and always thankful for prayers and above all..Saint George..as she put it...Will miss Betty terribly..
Love Ya, Betty....Judy and Marty

Betty and I was friends from when we moved into the house on Taylor Ave. when I was 5 or 6. As we got older, Betty always teased me because I had my birthday on the 5th of Jan. She use to say "I'm younger that you are". Even this year, she said I would turn 73 before her. Love you, Betty.

When I think about Betty I think about how kind and uplifting she was. Over the years she always made a point of saying something positive to me and finding out about my life. She was very caring and sincere. I am sure she is up in heaven with all of the other beautiful people in our family who have passed, looking down on all of us and still sharing her love and kind spirit. She will be missed. What a great smile she had....so full of joy.

Betty and I attended PS 107 K thru 8th grade. We attended different high schools and then I moved to Queens. It was through Clason Pointe web site that we connected. We had wonderful Emails about our kids and grandkids. Yes, Betty was such a kind and easy friend to have. I will always remember her beautiful red hair. Rest in Peace in Heaven my friend.

Dear Peter, I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. I never had the pleasure of meeting her but she raised a terrific son. You've been as much a part of our family as you have been of yours. Know that all the O'Learys Love you and are with you at this time of sorrow.
