Obituary of Elaine K Bandurski, MD

Elaine K Bandurski, MD, died peacefully in her home surrounded by her mother and 2 sisters in Bedminster on Feb. 21, 2010. She was 48. Born in Irvington she was raised in Whippany and moved to Bedminster 8 years ago. Elaine received her B.S. in Nursing from Seton Hall University in 1984. After working several years as a Emergency Room nurse she decided to become a physician and graduated with distinction from George Washington University Medical School in 1997. She spent 3 years in Residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. She then become an Emergency Room Physican at Hunterdon Medical Center and a partner with the Pegasus Group. Elaine loved to spend time with her 4 nephews and take long walks in the park with her dog Scooter. She also loved to travel around the world visiting different countries. Some of her hobbies were skiing, fly fishing, going the beach, museums and art galleries. Most of all she loved being a physican and taking care of people. Elaine was the beloved daughter of the late Matthew Bandurski. Survivors include her mother Lottie, two sisters Ursula, Irene and her husband Frank, 4 cherished nephews Matthew, Glenn, Jr., Tommy and David. She also leaves behind an uncle in Poland, many cousins, friends, and her beloved dog Scooter. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4:30 & 6:30-9pm at the Bailey Funeral Home, 176 Main St., Peapack. Funeral Mass Saturday 10:00am at St. Brigid Church, Main St. Peapack.
