Obituary of Raymond Bruce Fraser

Raymond B. "Bruce" Fraser passed away following a series of heart complications on August 23, 2016 at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation in Chester. He was 72 years of age. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Bruce was a graduate of Dalhousie University and the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. He was the founder of Nova Growth Associates in Lebanon, N.J., a consultancy specializing in the dairy processing industry. Prior to his role as founder, Bruce was a senior executive working for John Labatt Limited and Imasco Limited in both Canada and the US. He was a member of the Essex Hunt Club and the Somerset Lake and Game Club and a longtime active member of the Lamington Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Valerie (Chambers) Fraser; his children, James (and his fiancee, Genevieve Haverstick), and Charles; his brother, John Fraser of Halifax and his sister, Mary Jean Gibson of Ottawa. His family will forever think of him as a devoted husband and a loving father who will be remembered for his intellect, sharp wit, and generous nature. Bruce was predeceased by his beloved daughter Stephanie in 1982. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday August 29, 2016 at 11am at the Lamington Presbyterian Church, Lamington Rd., Bedminster.
