Obituary of Evangelos Kazeppis

Evangelos Kazeppis (variously and proudly known as "EK", "Angie", "Angelo", "Handsomest Man in the Gregory Park Apartments" and "The Prince of Abuse") passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 14 at Holly Manor Care Center after a short illness. A graduate of Columbia University, EK was a high school teacher, serial business owner, legal proofreader, husband, father, grandfather, actor, poet, Shakespeare lover, raconteur and Marine. He was born in Jersey City and, while he lived in many places, always considered Jersey City his home. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia Neafsey Kazeppis. He is survived by his daughter, Pandora Thompson, and her husband, Michael Thompson, and his grandson, Boone; his twin brother, Minas Kazepis and his wife, Irene; his nephew and godson, Basil Kazepis, and his niece, Tanya Kazepis.
