Mary Ann Wessel posted a condolence
Dear Beverly,
There are not enough words to say just how deeply I have enjoyed our friendship. 14 years is a long time, we have enjoyed many good times and sad times. One of my fondest memories is sharing a beach chair with you in the sun, wind blowing and ocean waves pounding. Your love of animals was very special to me. We both knew how important it was to help unwanted pets.
I will miss you dear friend and I will keep your memory in my heart forever.
Love,
Mary Ann

Our heartfelt sympathy is with John, Peter and Cindy. We were blessed to have known Bev for over thirty years. She was always cheerful with a wonderful sense of humor. We have so many good memories of her and your family and we will miss her not being in our lives. We will pray that the void you are feeling now will be filled with all the happy thoughts you have of her.

Bev and Family- My fondest memories are when I found my daughter, Ria, a freshman in h.s., was invited to an overnight prom party with her then junior "Delbarton" boyfriend, Mike, and was about to negate it, til I found out it was at my co-worker's home, Beverly, who had everything under control. When she first came to Weichert, we heard it was someone "big" from Coldwell Banker, and her matching desk set was there before she was, we thought "out of our league", until we met her and loved her all the way-that was our "old guard"-Lydia, Joanne, Starzie & I-(we shared the upstairs offices) under Bernie's management. We had such good times at Weichert.
Then there were those special times on LBI at her & John's home, which they loved so much. Last time MaryAnn & I were there, we were all so happy that the day was a "10", she told John on the phone what a great day it was..and she named me "Girlie-Girl" & I introduced her to Mary, who became her bosom-buddy too. And she was so excited to hear I was to become an unexpected grandmother & helped get me thru it. Starzie & I needed the support, and got it all the way.
John, you have been a wonderful husband and stong man-a true inspiration. We all love you for all you have done for her-and Cindy & Peter-your strength & your courage-and hers. God Bless you all. Sorry this is so long, but it kept on flowing from my heart. Deepest sympathy & love, Sharon

(Easter Sunday morning 2009-at sunrise)
Bev (Trebour) and I first met as teenagers in the 1950’s throughout her years in Livingston HS, when I was dating her neighbor, and close friend. He brought us together and there were many “front stoop visits, as her house and his were very close together. That was our beginning. Our lives spanned her entire Livingston HS years and Bev had more friends than anyone could ever count. Our separation after her graduation was temporary as we met again, to my great surprise, a few years later, when we both worked at Foster Wheeler in NY (then Livingston) in the same department, only desks away. We filled our schedules with social activities, formed a bowling league and other after-work events and began regular visits to the NJ Shore. We compensated by covering for each other for quick “naps on the couch in the ladies’ room at FWC Livingston. Separated once again as our lives took different turns, I kept “up with Bev through mutual friends, on a regular basis. Then, many years later, I was at the Mendham Hardware store when I heard a familiar voice in the next aisle…it was Bev. She was with her daughter, picking out a mailbox for their new home. Bev? In Mendham? How did that happen? Once again, re-united but now with a wonderful husband, John, and her two children, Peter and Cindy. The rest is history. Bev leaves a wonderful legacy and abundance of love for family, friends, relationships and co-workers. She will be missed and yet honored for her strength and courage and dedication to life. I, for one, could not have done it any better, nor would I try. Bev, you will be loved, remembered, and with us all, always. am

John, Cindy and Peter...you are the fortunate ones, to have had your wife/mom in your lives. As were we, her many friends. Her smile and laugh are unforgettable. We were friends for over 50 years, and even though separated by many miles, none of that mattered when we did get together and were able to hug once again.
I will miss her.
