Obituary of Kevin Paul Green

Kevin Paul Green of Mendham, N.J., passed away suddenly at home on January 31, 2024, at the age of 62. 

Kevin was born on December 29, 1961 in White Plains, N.Y., to John George Green and Barbara Ann Green (Bedard).  During his childhood, Kevin lived in Cazenovia, N.Y. and Ashland, Ky.  Kevin met his beloved wife, Jennifer, in their college years and spent the early years of their marriage in Frederick, Md. and Pittsburgh, Pa.  Kevin and Jennifer welcomed four children between 1989 and 1997 before they moved to New Jersey in 1998.  The family lived in Chester, N.J. for 12 years and Mendham, N.J. for 14 years.  Kevin was predeceased by his son Benjamin John Green (1998) and his parents John and Barbara.

Kevin was a graduate of Mount St. Mary’s College in Emmitsburg, Md.  After graduating, Kevin went on to a career as a software salesman for various companies including SAP, JBA, Xspeedium, Infor and Oracle.

Kevin found great joy in spending time with his children, talking with family and friends, gardening and landscaping, playing golf, coaching and watching sports, listening to music, and watching movies and the Boston Red Sox. Kevin was a friend of Bill’s for over a decade.

Kevin is survived by his wife Jennifer Green (Welles) of Mendham, N.J.,  two daughters Kalee Green of Morristown, N.J., Schuyler Holleran (Keith) of Arlington, Va., one son Nicklaus Green of Mendham, N.J., and his stepmother Marguerite Green of LeRoy, N.Y.  In addition, he is also survived by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Chester, New Jersey at a private residence.  Please contact nskjgreen@gmail.com for the address and additional details.
