Liz Anne and I have been SO blessed by knowing Bev. Her positive view of life and beautiful smile always lifted the spirits of ALL she came in contact with.- I know she lifted me up!! Even though we lived far apart for many years, our close connection always remained. I know that she and John are enjoying peace and joy. MANY PRAYERS are with you all and I wish I could have been at the funeral.

I am so heartbroken for your loss. LIfe promises us very little and you and Beverly seemed perfect together and captured so much of what life can offer for those who live it.
Having that Love for as long as you had it is a blessing many do not have and I am happy you and she found that key. Words cannot at this point help much but somehow I will pray that you and your family find peace.
Sincerest and deepest sorrow.
Matt

Beverly will always be a part of my life. She was my mother's best friend, as Charlie was my dad's best friend. They went on many vacations together. My mother did not have a total grasp of the English language and was very shy. The times I remember her laughing and opening up was around Bev. I would hear talking about everything and anything. I used to think, "Wow, is that my mother? Thank God she has Beverly." Charlie's love letter is an amazing and powerful testament. Bev will never be defined by her illness. She will be remembered as a loving and loyal friend, with the patience of a saint, and a smile that was so heartfelt that it could change any dreary day. She was taken much too young! I will always remember her beautiful voice. I went to hear her sing whenever she sang at the Classy Coffee in Huntington. She sang at my surprise 40th Birthday Celebration. What a perfect present! The song that always reminds me of Bev is "Crazy" by Patsy Cline. Dearest Bev, we were Crazy for you. It was Heaven when you were with us. I will pray to you and keep you abreast of the Navas Family news, as I always have. I will also pray to you that when it is my turn to go, I will show the same strength of character and courage to move on. To Sherrill and Charlie and family, we love you; and I am so sorry for your loss.

Dear Charles-
Nothing/no one can prepare you for a separation as great as this… may the love, and beautiful memories of Beverly bring you comfort during this most difficult time.
We know the pain and sadness you are feeling right now. Although words cannot express it, please accept our deepest condolences. Beverly was truly a beautiful person inside and out. Your love and devotion to each other was obvious to all.
In the upcoming weeks, after all becomes quiet, remember that there are many people who love you, and know that Joe and I are among them.

Dear Charles:
Words cannot express the sorrow we both feel at Bevy's passing. I am not going to say we know how you feel, because we don't.
All I know is what a sweet person she was and of all the married people I have seen you were one of the most devoted to each other. You will miss her terribly and so will we.
Just remember, Cancer may have taken her physically away from you, but you will always have her spirit and memories of her within you. Nothing or nobody can take them away from you.
Take care of yourself. God Bless. Aunt Mary & Uncle Frank

To My Precious Sister,
I have never been at a loss for words before, but I am at this moment. I will miss everything about you--your beauty, kindness, patience and courage. I will miss laughing with you over the silliest things, and confiding my fears with you. You are the wisest person I know. I am honored to be your sister. I will love you always, sweetie. God bless you.

Bev-
You have been my best friend for 42 years. We started working together as nurses in the convent. We were certainly silly at times. I will never forget your little blue mustang that had a hole in the floor in the back seat and one could see the rd pass by. Or the time we were driving to go see Beatlemania and there was a man carrying a dog, total stranger, and we picked him up and took him to the vet. Turns out the dog needed to be sedated to be groomed. We talked about this just recently. We had our quiet tea times, and our crazy lives. We both grew up and moved around, but always managed to meet somewhere. We texted our cups of coffee and doughnuts weekly. Our dog and bird stories, endless. You have been gone a day and I cannot stop thinking of you and hearing your laugh. I will long to speak with you forever. I truly believed in a miracle for you. You are out of pain and that is the comfort you most deserve. You are the most loyal and generous person I know. You will live on in my heart and those who know and love you. Rest my dear friend.
