Florence Audrey Huber
July 6, 1927 – October 22, 2016
Boynton Beach, FL - Florence Huber (Miserendino) passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving caregivers on October 22, 2016. She was born in the Bronx, NY to Mary and Daniel Miserendino (Miserendino). Her husband Robert predeceased her. She was 89.
She loved crossword puzzles and spending time with her family.
Florence was always involved with the community. She was an Educator for over 30 years with the Morris School District at Alfred Vail and Hillcrest Schools where she was known for producing plays and playing the piano with her students. She had a gift for helping children learn. Many students kept in touch and remained a part of her life. She and her husband retired to Florida where they enjoyed theater, dancing and traveling with their many friends.
She is survived by her daughters Barbara Nelson of Mendham and Ellen Huber Fields and her husband Joe of Pilesgrove, NJ, grandsons Christopher and Brian Nelson and his wife Casey. Also survived by grandchildren Chris, Sean and Kelsie Fields, great-grandchildren Olivia Nelson and Gemma, Dominic, Crystal and Piper Fields, her nephew Edward Piersa and his wife Pamela, and great-nephews Edward and Douglas Piersa.
The family will receive visitors from 4-8 at Bailey Funeral Home 8 Hilltop Rd, Mendham on Tuesday, October 25, 2016. A funeral Liturgy will be held at St. Joseph’s Church in Mendham on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at 10:30 am, Internment will be at Hilltop Cemetery.
