Obituary of Richard Smith, Jr

Richard Jude Smith Jr. 1981 - 2016 Richard Jude Smith Jr. passed away on September 21st 2016. He was 34. He was born in Denville NJ on November 21st 1981 to Patricia and Richard Smith Sr., He lived in Rockaway for most of his life before moving to DeBary Florida. Richard worked as a custom cabinet maker and refinisher at Woodmasters LLC in Randolph. He enjoyed playing his guitar by the beach on family vacations as well as camping and rock climbing. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Sherman and Olive Jones. Richard is survived by his father, Richard Smith Sr. of Mendham. His mother, Patricia Ethier of Florida, three brothers Michael and Andrew of Long Valley, and Brian of Mendham. and one Sister Emily of Mendham. He is also survived by his grand parents, Jack and Theresa Smith of Mendham. Visitation will be held on Friday October 7th from 6-8 at Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Road, Mendham. Funeral Mass on Saturday October 8th at 12 PM at St. Joseph Church, Mendham Flowers may be sent to Bailey Funeral Home. .
