Obituary of Anthony J Cacchio, Jr.

Anthony J. Cacchio Jr. passed away peacefully on September 22, 2016 at the age of 86. He was a lifelong resident of Mendham Borough and a member of St. Joseph’s Church. He graduated from Morristown High School in 1947. He served in the Korean War with the Air Force, stationed in Great Falls, Montana and was honorably discharged. He worked as a Butcher for A&P for his entire career. He was predeceased by his parents Anthony J. Cacchio, Sr. and Marie Libera Parillo and one sister Lois Grey. He is survived by nephews Gary, Briane and Mark Grey and niece Maria Grey. He is also survived by grandnephews Kevin Grey-Tunkl, Sean Grey-Tunkl and Marcus Grey and one grandniece Haley Grey. He was the oldest cousin of the family generation of 27 cousins 16 are surviving. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 30th from 7-9pm. Funeral Mass Saturday, October 1st, 10:30am at St. Joseph Church, Mendham. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Mendham First Aid Squad, PO Box 131, Mendham, NJ 07945, would be appreciated.
