Obituary of Adrienne I Pinto
Mendham Township - Adrienne Ida Pinto (nee Rispoli) passed away at home on May 17, 2016 after a short illness. She was 71.
Born in Port Chester, NY to Angelina (Morabito) and the late Thomas Rispoli, she was a graduate of Rye High School and a resident of Rye, NY and Manhattan before moving to Mendham in 1980.
At the time of her illness, Mrs. Pinto was the President of the Rotary Club of the Mendhams. She had previously served in other officer positions with Rotary for many years; her favorite program with Rotary was the Dictionary Project. Mrs. Pinto had also volunteered with many other charitable organizations in the area.
Mrs. Pinto worked at her husband's law firm as the office manager, prior to which she was a realtor with Coldwell Banker in Mendham and worked at Citibank in various positions for 20 years.
In addition to her mother, Mrs. Pinto is survived by her husband of 35 years, Harry J. Pinto Jr., her son Joe and his wife Andrea, her daughter Stephanie and her fiancée Mario Favorito, her brother Thomas Rispoli Jr., her sister Jean O'Neill, and many other loving relatives and friends. Mrs. Pinto was predeceased by her brother Robert M. Rispoli.
For family, friends and colleagues, Adrienne was a giver. She always knew the right gift for the occasion; could always summon up that something to make an event special; and she worked tirelessly to get whatever she was working on complete. She was a wonderful cook and always glad to prepare special requests. Because she was so thoughtful we just came to rely on her throughout the years to be there, to organize and make sure everyone had a good time - which we always did. Thanks so much A - you will be truly missed.
