Obituary of John B Maiorano
John B. Maiorano passed away suddenly on May 12, 2016 at his daughter's home in Bernardsville. He was 91.
Born in Bayonne, he was a lifelong Bayonne resident. He moved to Bernardsville in 2015.
Mr. Maiorano worked in the food refinery division of Best Foods in Bayonne for 40 years before retiring in 1988. He served in the Navy during WWII from 1943-1946.
His family will remember him as a loving father and grandfather who enjoyed playing poker with friends and taking trips to Atlantic City.
He is survived by one son, John B. Maiorano, Jr. (Buz) of Kill Devil Hills, NC, one daughter, Alana Davis and her husband, Bill of Bernardsville, two sisters, Angie Rusnak of Exeter, NH and Irene Maiorano of Toms River, NJ. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 2 great–grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, June 4th at 11am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Seney Drive and Claremont Road, Bernardsville. Arrangements by the Bailey Funeral Home of Mendham.www.baileyfuneral.com
