Obituary of Marian A. Betz

Marian A. Betz, age 98, passed away peacefully, on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at home surrounded by her family. She was born and raised in Roselle, NJ. She lived in Mendham for 57 years, while actively volunteering in the community as a Girl Scout leader and a 4-H leader. As a member of St. Joseph's Parish she taught CCD classes for many years. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, knitting and baking. Marian is predeceased by her beloved husband, John. She leaves three daughters, Janet Kluxen (Charles), Suzanne Susko (Peter) and Carolyn Conover. She was blessed with eight grandchildren, Peter, Michael, Nicholas and Matthew Susko, Stephen and Kathleen Kluxen and Elizabeth and Ryan Conover plus five beautiful great-grandchildren, Peter and Daniel Susko, Olivia and Charlotte Susko, and Liam Susko. She touched the lives of her entire family and left them with countless, loving memories. Visitation will be held April 29, 2016 from 9-11am at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Road, Mendham, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am, St. Joseph Church, Mendham, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
