Obituary of Marilyn Bonin

Marilyn H. Bonin died on Feb. 15, 2016 at Morristown Medical Center. She was 80. Born in NY, NY she lived in Queens, NY, Mamaroneck, NY and West Hartford, CT before moving to Parsippany in 1970. Marilyn worked in Television Production in New York City for game shows and commercials. She left her Television Production career to raise her children. She began selling roofing and siding supplies in 1987 for Standard Roofing and she had been actively working as an Inside Sales Manager for Myles F Kelly in Chatham. Her family will remember her as a hardworking and dedicated employee. She was also a dedicated mother and grandmother who was seen all over town at her grandchildren's many activities including concerts, plays and especially baseball, softball and field hockey games. She is survived by one son Bruce Bonin and his wife Wendy Wardle-Bonin of Parsippany, and one daughter Stacey Homler and her husband Kevin of Parsippany. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren Bradley and Brittany Bonin and Ryan and Carly Homler. The funeral service will be held on Thursday Feb 18, 2016 at 10am at the Par-Troy Funeral Home, 95 Parsippany Rd. Parsippany. Entombment will be private in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Queens, NY . Shiva will be observed on Thursday from 5:30pm and Friday from 2-4pm at Marilyn’s home, 3 Wood Glen Way, Parsippany. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4-10 and Saturday from 12-3pm also at Marilyn's home.
