Obituary of Marc A. Herrington
Marc A. Herrington died peacefully on Feb. 5, 2016 at Laurelton Village Care Center in Brick, NJ. He was 66.
Born in Detroit Michigan to Kermit Herrington and Marilyn Trueblood Herrington, he lived in Chicago, IL, Seattle, WA and Highland Park, NJ before moving to Brick in 2015.
He served in the Army from 1969 to 1971 during the Vietnam era.
After his military service Marc enrolled in Illinois Institute of Technology, Institute of Design and graduated with a BS in visual design. Immediately after graduation he started his own design business in Chicago, Herrington Associates.
Later, he was a graphic designer for Holland America for 10 years. He re-opened Herrington Associates and did freelance work for many companies including Holland America and Sawbones.
His family will remember him as a talented artist and loving father, brother and son.
He is survived by his children Jason Herrington and his wife Lauren Richardson of San Fransisco, CA, Kelsey Herrington and her husband Dominic Pascarelli of Saco, ME and Connor Herrington of Vashon island, WA, one brother Karl Todd, Seattle, WA, one sister Joyce Spinello and her husband James, Brick, NJ, two nieces, Xanadu Caban and Elena Cargill, and his former wife Paula Herrington, Vashon Island, WA
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4-7 pm at the Bailey Funeral Home, 176 Main St. Peapack.
