Obituary of Doris M. Weijlard

Peapack - Doris Mildred Weijlard passed away at Newport Memorial Hospital in Rhode Island on January 23, 2016 after a short illness. She was 80. Born in Peapack, she lived in Mendham before moving to Rhode Island 10 years ago. She was the owner/operator of the Tempe-Wick Salon for over 35 years, and operator of Video 13, both in Mendham. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ralph R. Weijlard Sr., her son Ralph R. Weijlard Jr. "Rick”; her brother Harry Metzler and sister Eleanor Stephenson and, three grandchildren, four nephews and one niece. Arrangements are by the Bailey Funeral Home, 176 Main Street, Peapack, NJ 07977 (908) 234-0590. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday, January 31, 2016 from 4-7 PM. Funeral Services will be at the funeral home on Monday, February 1, 2016 at 10:00 AM with the Rev. Michael Drury officiating. Interment will follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Tewksbury. In Lieu of flowers, donations are requested by the family to the Alzheimer's Association.
