Obituary of Josephine Honoshowsky

Josephine Honoshowsky passed away peacefully on Jan. 6, 2016. She was 98. Born in Gladstone, she was a lifelong resident of Peapack-Gladstone. Mrs. Honoshowsky was a homemaker for most of her life. She also worked as a parts assembler for Diehls Aircraft during World War II. She was a longtime active member of St. Brigid Church in Peapack. Her family will remember her as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who always put family first. Mrs. Honoshowsky was predeceased by her husband, Albert; her brother, Patrick; her sister, Brigid Giolio; and her grandson, Mark. She is survived by a son, Patrick "Sparky" Honoshowsky of Bedminster; a daughter, Mary Palmer (Ted) of Carmel, Ind.; and a sister, Elizabeth Wilcock of Gladstone. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Michael C. Honoshowsky of Tampa, Fla., Daniel J. Honoshowsky of Bedminster, Steven A. Honoshowsky (Dawn) of Highlands, and Erika Palmer of Brooklyn, N.Y. A private funeral service was held at the Bailey Funeral Home in Peapack. Inurnment was at Holy Cross Mausoleum in Basking Ridge.
