Geri and the Mielach family; we are so sorry for your loss. John & Geri lived across the street from us in Royal Palm for many years. We enjoyed so many good times together. John and I hacked our way around the Royal Palm golf course many times and he flew us in his plane more than once. He was generous and kind with a ready smile. We join you all in your sorrow and will remember John fondly. RIP dear friend.

Dear Steve-
I'm sorry to hear about tour Dad.
I'll always remember the day, while we were at Seton Hall, that your dad took us out on his boat to catch bluefish. I remember catching quite a few and your Mom taking them down below and making the freshest most delicious fish dinner I ever had.
Kisses to All.

Dear Gerry,
I was surprised to learn about John. I am saddened by this news and I will send a donation to the Lupus Foundation. I regret that I did not know he died and I did not see his obituary in the paper. I will always remember him as a generous, caring, warm hearted friend and I know that his absence will be a big void in your family.
Love and kindest wishes,
Janet & Nick

I remember Mr. and Mrs. Mielach taking us out on their boat every year for Katie's birthday. I spent many days and nights at the Mielach house growing up. What great times those were! Very nice man... I'm so sorry to hear of his passing. God Bless.

I lived down the street from Mr. Mielach in Scotch Plains, where I went to grade school through high school with his two sons John and Steve. John Sr. Always made me welcome around his family, and Was kind to his family. He raised six awesome children, all who were all raised to be respectful and goal driven. The man enjoyed life, and I remember many boating and golf outings that were quite fun. He was also an accomplished pilot, no doubt, because of this meticulous navigation skills. He was a perfectionist in his business and recreational passions. John Sr. will be missed, but I am comfortable that he had a full and satisfying life. Rest in peace Big John.G
