Obituary of Sara S. Henderson

Sara S. Henderson passed away peacefully on Dec 29, 2015 at home in Gladstone. She was 84. Born in Canada, she grew up in Highland Park before moving to Gladstone in 1973. Mrs. Henderson received her Bachelors and Pharmacy Degree from Rutgers University. She worked many years as a registered pharmacist before changing careers to work as a librarian at Bedminster's Dillon Library and then Peapack-Gladstone Library. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and travel with her husband Norman, and was actively involved with the Jockey Hollow Weavers Group, and the Peapack Gladstone Happy Rockers. She was predeceased by her husband and her son Kevin. She is survived by her son Brian, son Douglas and his wife Barbara, her grandson John, her sister Olga and husband Bill and four beloved nieces. Visitation will be held on Friday Jan 1, 2016 from 4-8 pm at the Bailey Funeral Home, 176 Main St, Peapack. Funeral Mass Saturday 10:30am at St. Brigid Church Peapack.
