Obituary of Ann H Del Tufo
Ann H. DelTufo passed away peacefully at her home in Mendham Township on December 15, 2015. She was 80.
Born in Duluth, Minnesota to Guilford and Sarah Hartley, she lived in Morristown for over 20 years before moving to Brookside in 1983.
Ann was a member of the Junior League of Morristown, the Golden Retriever Club of New Jersey, the American Kennel Club, the First Presbyterian Church of New Vernon. She also was a loyal volunteer at Morristown Medical Center and at The Seeing Eye. She was an avid animal lover, especially horses, cats and dogs. She was a long time breeder of Goldrush golden retrievers. Ann loved life and the outdoors and always maintained a healthy dose of common sense and fortitude. She valued spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also had a particular interest in photography expanding her artistic talents following her college art degree.
Her family will remember her as an active, loving mother and grandmother who was always there when ever she was needed for comfort and guidance. She was unselfish and a great listener with a plethora of knowledge filled advice.
She is survived by her children; Robert DelTufo of Long Valley, NJ, David DelTufo and his wife Lisa of Harrison, NY, Barbara Engleking of Mendham, NJ and Ann Jackopin of Medford, NJ. She is also survived by her brother Roger Hartley, two sisters: Lisa Hutchinson and Sally Sneve and her eight grandchildren Will, Jonathan, Ray, Jameson, Jeffrey, Alexandra, Daniel and Graham.
A memorial service will be held. Details to be determined.
