Obituary of Joseph Breslauer
Joseph Breslauer died suddenly on Dec. 16, 2016 at Hackettstown Hospital.
He was 63.
Born in Orange, NJ he lived in Morris County most of his life. He spent 10 years Coco Beach FL before moving back to NJ in 1992.
He was a 1970 graduate of Hanover Park High Scholl.
Joe worked for the Morris County Road Department for 10 years and the City of Titusville Road Department in FL for 10 years. He has worked as a Carpenter in NJ for the last 20 years.
He was a high school wrestling and football enthusiast. He attended countless high school football playoff games and looked forward to his annual trip to Atlantic City with his nephew Paul to watch the NJSIAA State Wrestling Tournament. He was also an avid NASCAR fan and took many of his nephews to their first NASCAR Race.
He was predeceased by his brothers Donald, Gerald, David and Edward Breslauer.
Joe is survived by three sisters; Dorothy Day Miller of Peapack, Mary Francis Feeley of Huntington, NY, and Kathleen Brennan of Barnegat, NJ, three sister's in law; Ann Breslauer of Parsippany, Noreen Breslauer of Rockaway and Mae Breslauer of Suffolk, VA. He is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews, and 33 grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday Dec 21, from 5-8pm at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd., Mendham. Funeral Mass Tuesday 11:00am at St. Ann R.C Church Parsippany. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. www.baileyfuneral.com
