Obituary of Georgine Anne Meyer

Randolph Twp. – Georgine Anne Meyer, 77, passed away at Kessler Rehabilitation Center in Chester on Monday, November 30, 2015 after a short illness. Born in Brooten Minnesota to the late Alben and Verna (Knudson) Swenson, she was a resident of Mendham before moving to Randolph in 1994. Mrs. Meyer was a receptionist for Audio Visual Dynamics in Hackettstown. She previously owned and operated Meyer Secretarial Services in Mendham for many years. Mrs. Meyer believed strongly in serving her community and was a long-time volunteer for Interfaith Food Pantry and Morristown Community Theater earning many honors and distinctions. She was a member and past President of the Mendham Rotary Club, serving both on the local and district levels. She is survived by her son Christopher (and his wife Catalina) of Colorado, her daughter Melinda Meyer of New Jersey, and her sister Sonja Davison. Interment will follow at Mendham Hilltop Cemetery following the funeral.
