Obituary of Vita Curtin

Vita M. Curtin, 89, passed away peacefully on October 8, 2015 from pancreatic cancer. Vita was an amazing woman who had grace and dignity to the very end despite her illness. She died at home peacefully in her sleep surrounded by love. Vita was a wonderful woman who lived a full and happy life and was a loving person who's family and faith was always the center of her life. She led her family with quiet strength, dignity, and a comforting, kind, and forgiving spirit. Vita was born in New York City and lived most of her life in Brooklyn, New York before moving to Bedminster, New Jersey. She is survived by her husband of 53 years Senan J. Curtin of Bedminster, New Jersey and her two daughters – Mary Helen Curtin of Bedminster, New Jersey and Francesca Curtin of New York City. Visitation will be held Saturday from 2 – 5 pm & 7 – 9pm and Sunday from 2 – 5PM at the Bailey Funeral Home Peapack. The Funeral Mass will be held Monday at 10:30AM at St Elizabeth Church, Far Hills.
