Obituary of Donald K. Bockoven

Donald K. Bockoven passed away suddenly on Sept. 23, 2015. He was 66. Born in Morristown, he lived in Mendham before moving to Chester in 1978. Don was the president and owner of Don Bockoven Jr., Inc. in Chester for the last 45 years before retiring in 2014. He was a member of the Antique Motorcycle Club of America. Don also loved the great outdoors. Don will be remembered as a kind and generous man who will be sadly missed. He is survived by his wife Sarah Lanzara Bockoven of Chester, two sons; Keith Bockoven of Wyalusing, PA and Jesse Bockoven of Long Valley, his grandson Travis Bockoven, his mother Florence Bockoven of Brookside; one brother Doug Bockoven of Blairstown and three nieces; Kellie, Lindsay and Katie. Visitation will be held on Saturday Oct 3, 2015 from 10am until 12 noon at the Bailey Funeral Home, 8 Hilltop Rd. Mendham. A memorial service will be held at 12 noon in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, spend a day in the great outdoors with family or friends or take a ride on your motorcycle in his memory.
