Dear Nancy, Glen, and Brad,
John's passing - so suddenly and way too young - has left me saddened and shocked. I feel so very bad for you and your family. Please know my thoughts are with you.
I met John years ago in the bike club and rode with him many times. We often chatted during and after our rides. He was a good man, a great guy, always having interesting and thoughtful insights into whatever subjects came up. I thought of him as a leader and someone you could count on to have wisdom and common sense, as well as compassion and understanding. It's hard to believe he is gone. I will miss him.
I met John as a member of the Morris Area Freewheelers. We rode together on countless occasions and had so many great conversations. John's mind never seemed to go into neutral. He was a constant source of ideas, a great resource, a dear friend to our club and to me. I will miss him.

My wife, Jane, and I want to convey our condolences to the Wilson family. John was a good, kind and considerate man and an exemplary citizen and/or leader of the activities he participated in Vermont's Mad River Valley. He will be greatly missed.
John's many friends among the Freewheelers will miss him. He was interesting to talk with, fun to ride with and a thoughtful contributor of good ideas for the Club. On behalf of the Club, our deepest sympathies to his family and friends.
My heart felt condolences...I only knew John on the slopes and as a member/President of the SRC...a great sport and skiing friend. He will be missed. I am in shock as I am sure so many are.

Our deepest condolences at the loss of John. He was a wonderful, sweet, sincere
man with a million dollar smile. His whole face would smile! He was such a
beautiful skier too. We loved having lunches together at Sugarbush.
