Obituary of Robert Gordon Bull

Robert Gordon Bull passed away after a long battle with Alzheimer's on July 22, 2015 in Morristown, NJ. He was 85. Born on September 7, 1929, in San Francisco, he was raised in Burlingame, CA In 1952 Robert married Kathryn Larson. They were married in San Mateo, California in a double wedding with Kathryn's sister Joan and William Crook. Together Bob and Kay celebrated 47 years of marriage. Robert was a Korean War Veteran serving on the USS Boxer. After his time in the Navy, Bob began working for Chubb and Son Insurance where he spent 41 wonderful years. Bob was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church in Mendham, NJ. He enjoyed traveling, gardening, reading and most of all, watching the San Francisco 49'rs games. Robert is predeceased by his wife Kathryn and his brother William. He is survived by his three children; Gordon Bull, Eric Bull and Karen Mastro and his three grandchildren, Nathan, Benjamin and Jack Mastro. A memorial service will be held on Saturday September 12, at 11:00 at the Grace Lutheran Church, Mendham. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Parks Service or Alzheimer's Association.
