Just today, I thought of Frank Rainaldi and The Kugler System. So sorry to hear he passed away in 2015. Yes, he was a warrior and his system of simplifying the complexities of insurance and estate planning will always be a part of his legacy.
For quite a a few years I was his recording engineer and editor at AVC in King of Prussia Pa., as he put on tape and CD all of his vast knowledge under the auspices of the ACLU and later for his own Kugler Company. It was a continuing project since tax laws changed frequently and the cases had to be updated, sometimes just a few sentences sometimes a paragraph or 2. The trick was matching the Frank Rainaldi of say 2004 with the Frank who recorded the original case in say 1998.
I’ll never forget working with him, son Bill and the family members that ran The Kugler Company in Mendham, NJ. Fond memories.

To The Rainaldi Family,
Frank Rainaldi, what a gentle giant. I can still vividly recall and visualize the first time I saw him walk across the stage presenting ideas from his “The Kugler System Business Concepts Technique Book”. I was not aware of your father and the technique books he had put together when he made a presentation to a MassMutual regional meeting. I was spell bound during the entire presentation and rushed up to meet him when it was over. I purchased the Estate Tax Analysis program and later the Business Concepts. His way of presenting such a complex issue in a simple to understand format was amazing. It was like he was speaking to his children. More amazing is every time I turn to one of the concepts, I visualize him as a loving husband, father and a man with a desire to improve the lives of others through his work.
The most remarkable man I ever met. I know he will be missed but we will still sense his presence until we unite with him again. God bless you and your family.
The Rainaldi Family will remain in our prayers,
Olin Ragsdale, CLU, AEP, CES

Ann and family: So sorry to hear about Frank's passing. I didn't know he was so sick.
It was my pleasure knowing and working with Frank at John Hancock. He was the consummate professional and friend. Everything I know about Estate Planning, Frank taught me from all the joint work we did early in my career, 25 yrs ago with the Boston Agency of JH.
From day one, when Frank heard I was New Yorker; a NY Yankee fan living and working in Boston; that I lived in White Plains and went to Stepinac which was White Plains HS Thanksgiving Day rivalry football game we IMMEDIATELY bonded. The icing on the cake was the Bellantoni's Bakery.....Frank told me of his memories as a young boy walking to the bakery to get FRESH homemade Italian Bread....they were cousins of my dad. We would always speak of good the bread was. He would always laugh when I told him every time I went back to NY I would bring several loaves back for my freezer and neighbors.
Every time we saw each other we always had a lot to talk about .....it was great.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family...and may Frank Rest in Peace!
Always,
Joe Bellantoni

Frank was one of the finest gentlemen I knew in my 38 years in the insurance industry. I am proud to call him a friend. We met sometime in the early 80s and spoke on many programs together. He was an educator and a mentor, but most of all he was a great guy. Unlike many in the industry, he never had a hidden agenda - what you saw was what you got. At some meetings we would go out for morning jogs together and he used to kick my butt, even though I am substantially younger than him. Through him I met Bil,l and Frank was never able to convince either one of us to switch from our beloved Red Sox.
When I came to New York Life in the late 90s, we would again work very closely, since the company had bought into the Kugler System and its offspring. Because of Frank's and Bill's efforts we were able to explain concepts to agents and clients in simple language and diagrams - he had a tremendous knack for making legal concepts understandable. He and Bill were always available to discuss whatever was on my mind.
My heartfelt condolences to Bill and the rest of the Rainaldi family. God Bless You Old Friend. Rest in Peace. You will be missed.

To The Rainaldi Family,
I had a great pleasure of working with Frank during my 14 years here at the Society of FSP. He was always a consummate professional, and possessed one of the brightest minds in our industry. He will be sorely missed.
We have a saying that is pretty common in the Baptist faith, but we nor I can claim originally for it. I believe that it is very appropriate at this time of loss: "Our loss is heaven's gain."
May almighty God, your friends, and of course, your family continue to surround you with comfort and memories during this period of your loss. You are all in my prayers and thoughts!

Ann, Bill, Kathy, Bill and Grandchildren:
Frank was always the consummate business man; his mind always active and concerned about his work and his family.
But then there was a different Frank that not everyone had the privilege of seeing. Frank would take pleasure in teasing the love of his life "Annie".
He was on top of world when his children were around him. Frank enjoyed discussing sports with the children, and when the grandchildren were around, one could see it was though he was watching "Fireworks" all the time!
I was very fortunate to be one that had the opportunity to be there, and see Frank display his endless love for family.
Love, Cathy

This is a sad day for all of us in the life insurance business. Frank was a friend, an educator, a businessman but most of all, a motivator. Frank played a very instrumental part in the advancement of my career. I remember when I was a young Advanced Planning Consultant and heard one of Frank's presentations. I was so impressed not just because of his knowledge and intellect but by his incredible ability of making the very complex into simple and easy to understand concepts. Frank inspired me to do the same with my business. To this day, every time I meet a client or conduct a presentation I would always be reminded of Frank's wisdom. Frank's legacy will live on. We shall all pray for him and his eternal peace and happiness.

Frank was a great family man and legend in our business. I had the pleasure of working closely with him since I entered the business back in 1995. He and his son Bill are one of the many father/son teams at Acorn. I have been blessed to be associated with some tremendous advisors at Acorn, Frank was at the top of that list. Only a few years ago he was recognized as our top producer, serving his clients to the very end. Frank will be missed, our thoughts are with Ann, Bill and his entire family.
