Obituary of W. Beatrice Nelthropp

Willie Bea Nelthropp was born on April 15th, 1926 in Plymouth, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Thomas and Bertha Gaylord and was the 7th child of 16 children in total. Willie Bea, attended Plymouth High School, and went to Fayetteville State University for her extended education. After University, Willie Bea, moved to what she called the big city (NYC) to pursue her career in business and service, and this is where she met and married her lifetime partner, soul mate, and husband, Mr. Kenneth Arturo Nelthropp. Together, with God's vision and blue print, they founded B&K Leather Stripping Inc. B&K, which started as a small family company of 3 individuals, blossomed into a large factory that occupied the entire 12th floor penthouse; but God's blessing didn't stop there. They enrolled as a couple to further and complete their religious education in the Tabernacle Bible Institute, and she was later ordained as an evangelist, and First Lady of Englewood Church of God in Christ(located in Englewood, NJ), where her husband Kenneth A. Nelthropp, was Ordained and Installed as Pastor, under the presiding C.O.G.I C Head Bishop, Dr. Bishop G. Patterson. After the death of her husband, Elder Kenneth Nelthropp, Willie Bea, used the rest of her life to travel internationally and domestically, spending time with family and the Lord, she also joined Kelly's Temple Church, where her cousin, Bishop James Gaylord was pastor. Kenneth and Willie Bea Nelthropp had three daughters, and through her latter years was attended by her daughter in New Jersey, Robin McCastle and her grandson Toye and Clyde Fraser. She is survived by grandchildren, and great grandchildren, some here on earth (in the U.S. and abroad) and in heaven. She is greeted upon her departure from this world by her husband, and a host of family members and angels who were excitedly ready to usher her into the wonderful presence of God. Willie Bea, toiled and suffered much to be obedient to the call of God, and to bless many people. She was a true prayer warrior and was the epitome of what it meant to be 'a fighter'!!! The work she did on earth was not done for the praise and accolades of people (although she did receive many awards, and certificates of recognition, which included the G.W. Bush award, and N.A.A.C.P. award), she did it for the glory and honor of God! For this reason, family can boast with confidence that great is HER reward in the Kingdom of God. Kenneth and Willie Bea Nelthropp, were generals for the Lord on earth, Captains of 1000's, both spiritually and physically. Her prayers, and investment of hard work laboring beside him, helped to sustain an empire that funded housing; chuches and ministries; and helped to clothe; feed; and educate many, not only during her lifetime, but for generations to come!!! Willie Bea Nelthropp, was a woman that was TRULY loved by God!!! The imprint her life has left on those who survive her, will NEVER be forgotten and will NEVER fade away. The LEGACY of Kenneth and Willie Bea Nelthropp will live on not only in the lives of her family, but in the Kingdom of God forever. We love you Mom. We love you Grandma. We love you Great Grandma!!! Please continue to pray for us. You were always by our side, we need your prayers, for we have large shoes to fill. Please pray that we will continue in the same love that you have shown for us.
